Beach Fun Photo Challenge - i heart faces

It's been a while since I participated 

in a "i heart faces" photo challenge. 

But being from Southern California, 

I couldn't resist this week's theme: 

Beach Fun!

So here is my entry:

Boogie boarding, surfing, skim boarding, 

you name it, my kids love it!

The Greenwald Family - August 2010

I have known Ayla and the Greenwald for about 1 year.

Ayla is a child with special needs

with a wonderful personality. So, when Laura, 

her mom, asked me to photograph her family,

I was thrilled! Ayla will be turning three

in September and is a little shy with strangers.

So Laura thought that since she knew me, 

she might be more cooperative for the photo shoot!

And she was.

Here are a few of my favorites:

 

Ayla was cooperative until it was time to take photos with her big brother!

I am glad I had the chance to photograph this wonderful family and to capture these special moments!

SCV MAGIC CUP - July 17th & 18th, 2010

The new SCV Magic BU14 Green
participated in the SCV Magic Cup tournament
and finished in third place.
The boys started the tournament well with two wins on Saturday.
However, on Sunday, with two players absent
and two other injured, the team had to battle
the top two teams and lost.
But not without putting up a good fight.
