Emerson - October 2011

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Emerson. She was just 7 months old and has the most beautiful blue eyes! Her mom, Dawn contacted me after reading prayfornathan.org 

She saw some photos I recently took of Gryffin and saw that I was also an Occupational Therapist. She thought it would be a great match since Emerson is developmentally delayed. 

This was Emerson's very first photo shoot and she was fabulous!

The whole family was such a pleasure... Even Daisy, the first born in the family!

And little Emerson was a "rock star", even when she fell asleep!

Gryffin - August 2011

I took these photos last month and completely forgot to post photos on this Blog!

Well it's better late than never I guess.

This beautiful baby boy is Gryffin. And I had the pleasure of photographing him when he was just 1 week old, in his home in Canyon Country.

 

 

 

 

 

Pixie - August 2011

Christina had to take care of our neighbors' dog, Pixie for a week.

Christina adores Pixie and she demonstrated that she could be very responsible!

At the end of the week, before Bill and Vanessa came back from their vacation,

I went with Christina to see Pixie and took a few shots:

Isn't she just adorable?

And it was very cute to watch her and Christina playing "fetch" in the backyard!

Now that the neighbors are back, 

Christina will continue to take care of Pixie by taking her for walks 

whenever her schedule allows.

Hopefully, that will be enough to satisfy Christina's desire to have a "little" dog!

Lisa, Ash and Cinder - July 2011

It's been a while since I posted to this Blog! 
I have been busy with my 2011 Memories Blog,
a 365 Project and have been posting photos there instead. 
The summer has also been quiet; not too many sporting events to photograph 
and not to many portrait sessions.

Christmas 2010

This year was a great Christmas once again! 

We spent Christmas Eve watching some Christmas shows until it was time to go to bed.

Christina made sure to leave a plate of cookies and some milk for Santa and she even wrote her a letter!

After opening all the presents on Christmas morning, we celebrated some more in the company of our wonderful friends, the Moultons, the Heslins and the Melacci.

Decorating the Christmas Tree

This week end, we went to pick out our Christmas tree, despite the rain. 

This has become a family tradition. 

We all go together and decide which is the best tree for our family. 

We always purchase a Noble Fur; the branches are a little more sturdy than the 

Douglas Fur and holds heavier ornaments.

This year, we found a beautiful Noble Fur of about 8 feet tall, that we all liked.

After stringing the lights, I let the kids hang the ornaments; 

It didn't take long before it was completely decorated!

Here are a few pictures:

A few more years and Nicholas will be old enough to string the lights

and all three of them will be able to hang the ornaments on their own...

All I'll have to do is to supervise!

But in the meantime, I enjoy spending time with the family,

decorating the tree, baking, or wrapping presents...

It puts me in the spirit of the holidays!
